About Levonia
Originally from Mill Spring, North Carolina, Levonia is a Clemson fan who joined the Carter team in 2004.
With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Levonia provides assurance services with a focus on compliance with GAAP and professional standards and enjoys presenting financial statements and deliverables to various Boards of Directors. Levonia manages overall assurance quality control for the firm and provides peer reviews for other CPA firms.
She brings value to clients by being able to explain how to interpret financial information and read financial statements to identify areas of concern, or just understand what the numbers mean to those who might be less financially savvy. Serving on peer review teams gives Levonia the unique opportunity to learn from other firms, share best practices, and share Carter’s expertise for the furtherance of the profession.
Outside of work Levonia is a dedicated sports Mom (volleyball and softball) who enjoys reading murder mysteries, running, watching football, visiting breweries with her husband, and family trips to Jamaica.
